These video’s are over a year old but I wanted to put them up as they are a great introduction to affiliate marketing. The Top Affiliate Challenge was a series created to showcase 3 teams of affiliates competing against each other to win prizes based on the amount of money generated using affiliate marketing.It’s pretty cheesey but worth a look if your getting involved in affiliate marketing. Each episode team members were voted off until one affiliate remained and was given the title Top Affiliate.
Each team was a assigned a team leader or guru from the industry. The team leaders were Shoemoney, John Chow and Ken MacArthur. There were three teams sponsored by the different affiliate networks and corporate sponsors, Team Pepperjam (Pepperjam Network), Team Toolbarn (Toolbarn.com) and Team XY7.com ( XY7.com Affiliate Network).
The contestants were Big Jason Henderson, Jonathon van Clute, Ian Fernando, Collin De Ruyck, Chad van Norman, Jani Ghaffer, Devin Hunter, Tom the furry hat guy, Collin LaHay, Jonathan Ryan, Ronda DelBoccio and Carl Zetterland.
There are 14 episodes in all but they are very informative about the techniques each affiliate use and provide some tricks along the way.
